QR 3 Unlimited — Same Price, Massively Better
Same QR 3 price point as the 2GB pack, but unlimited data with a soft FUP cap. This is the actual pack everyone should pick on Ooredoo Qatar Hala prepaid.
- Anyone who streams— Netflix, YouTube, sports highlights, TikTok; the cap-free experience is meaningfully better.
- Heavy WhatsApp video callers— calling family back home for 2-3 hours of video chews through any capped pack; unlimited removes the anxiety.
- Game updaters— modern mobile games (PUBG, Call of Duty Mobile, Genshin Impact) push 5-10GB updates regularly; unlimited covers it.
- Spotify / Apple Music users— high-quality streaming for 4-6 hours pushes past the 2GB cap easily.
Activation Pitfalls & Real-World Tips
The fair-usage policy kicks in at about 10GB single-day use. For normal heavy users this is irrelevant — you’ll hit the 24-hour expiry before the throttle. Only matters if you’re downloading 50GB+ of files (Photos backup, cloud sync, etc.).
Activation via *131# >3 QR Unlimited or via the Ooredoo Qatar app. The app is faster and confirms with a notification; USSD can take 30-60 seconds and occasionally times out at busy hours.
If you find yourself buying this pack 4+ days a week, switch to the weekly bundle — works out cheaper per day.
